Born and raised in Calgary, Deborah is ready to continue representing the constituents of Calgary Bow in 2019.
Responding to concerns she heard from residents and organizations, in 2016 Deborah brought forward the The Residential Tenancies (Safer Spaces for Victims of Domestic Violence) Amendment Act, which made it easier for victims of domestic violence to flee abuse. The bill received unanimous support from her colleagues in the Legislature.
She has also been a passionate advocate for much needed infrastructure in Calgary Bow, including funding for revitalization of Canada Olympic Park and completion of the Calgary Ring Road.
Before being elected, Deborah Drever was a student at Mount Royal University, pursuing a degree in sociology. She has been an active volunteer in her community, volunteering with organizations such as the Calgary Folk Music Festival and GlobalFest.
Deborah Drever and Rachel Notley's team are setting the course for a future that is for all Albertans, not just a select few. There's no room to turn back and undo our progress. Donate today to help elect Deborah Drever and join the fight for Alberta's future.Donate today
